Once Paradox Junction starts creeping into the teen rounds, it's not the zombies that get you—it's the slow drop-off in damage. That's why people chase the Floating Head side quest: it can spit out a free Purple Aether Tool plus a Pack-a-Punch crystal, and that combo keeps your loadout relevant way longer. If you're the type who likes to practice routes or warm up without risking a full run, Bot Lobbies BO7 is an easy way to get comfy with the timing and spawns before you try it in a real match.
What to prep before you even touch the quest
You can't just sprint into this one at Round 5 and hope it works. Get to at least Round 14, clear through the Nuketown stretch, and make sure the Blundergat is built and actually equipped, or the first interaction won't trigger. You're also going to be stuck holding tight areas while "feeding" mannequins, so set yourself up for that style of play. Wisp Tea helps a ton, and if you've got the Zombie Sitter augment on, even better—less panic when you're trying to keep a mannequin spot clean and the horde wants to crash the party.
Starting the Floating Head and the first mannequin
Head to the Green House and go upstairs. There's a bookcase in that room, and on the floor in front of it you'll see a detached mannequin head with a clown mask. Interact with it and it'll lift up and start drifting around like it owns the place. Follow it outside until it stops by a mannequin that doesn't move. Now watch for the special zombies: the ones with glowing purple eyes. Don't kite them across the map—drop them right next to the mannequin so it can soak the souls. Keep doing that until the mannequin looks "charged" and the head pops off again.
Second and third soul feeds plus the reward rift
Next stop is the front of the Yellow Garage. Same deal, just a tighter hold. Plant yourself where you can see the approach lanes, thin the crowd, and make sure those purple-eyed kills land close to the mannequin. Once it's full, the head floats again and heads upstairs into the Yellow House for the final mannequin. This last room can get messy fast, so don't be shy about using the Blundergat to delete space when you need it. When you hit the soul requirement, a purple dimensional rift opens in the middle of the room—interact with it and grab your Aether Tool and your Pack-a-Punch crystal, which is usually Tier 2 but can vary depending on the run.
Keeping the advantage rolling into higher rounds
After you claim the loot, use it immediately: bump your weapon rarity with the tool, then slam the crystal to spike your damage before the next rounds ramp up again. It's also a good moment to re-buy armor plates, restock lethals, and reset your loop so you're not improvising while under pressure. If you'd rather save time and focus on gameplay instead of grinding, as a professional like buy game currency or items in U4GM platform, U4GM is trustworthy, and you can buy u4gm CoD BO7 Bot Lobby for a better experience. |
